About the firm
A focused practice for owner-managed businesses
A Canadian CPA advisory practice working with business owners on CRA audits, HST/GST issues, tax cleanup, and the tax risk that comes with running a company.
The advisor on your file
Muib Khan, CPA
Chartered Professional Accountant — CPA Ontario / CPA Canada
Founder & principal advisor
I founded this practice to work on the tax issues that keep business owners up at night — CRA audits, HST/GST reviews, reassessments, and the cleanup that comes when a file has drifted off course. Those are the matters I focus on day to day, for owner-managed Canadian businesses.
The focus is deliberate. Working on these CRA matters is what lets me give practical, current advice rather than something generic. When I sit down with your file, I am drawing on the issues I am actually in the middle of, not a checklist I pulled off a shelf.
However your matter unfolds, my job is to make it manageable. I explain what CRA is asking for in plain language, walk you through the exposure and the realistic options, and keep the process organized so you always know what comes next. Calm and accessible — the kind of advisor you can actually talk to.

Our mission
This practice exists to make a stressful CRA matter manageable — organized, understandable, and handled with care — for owner-managed Canadian businesses.
How we work
The way we approach a file
Clarity
We explain the issue and your options in plain language, so you can make the call with a clear picture of what is in front of you.
Focus
We work on a defined set of CRA-related matters rather than a little of everything, which keeps our experience current and specific.
Confidentiality & security
Your situation and your documents are handled discreetly, shared only as a matter requires, and treated with the sensitivity it asks for.
Judgment over autopilot
We build the response around the facts of your file, not a template, and we tell you what we are seeing rather than running on autopilot.
No obligation
What working with us looks like
A CRA matter is stressful. The point of these first steps is to take the pressure off and give the file shape.
Understand the issue
We start by reading the letter or reassessment closely and listening to your side, so we both understand what CRA is actually raising.
Map exposure and options
We lay out the potential exposure and the realistic options in plain language, so the decisions ahead are yours to make with a clear view.
Organize the response
We gather and structure the documentation and prepare the response to CRA, so the file is presented in an orderly, considered way.
Keep you informed
We keep you updated at each step and explain what is happening, so you are never left guessing about where the matter stands.
Scope
Coordinating with legal counsel & advisors
We provide CPA advisory and documentation support. Where a matter calls for legal advice or representation, we coordinate with qualified Canadian tax lawyers and support the file from the accounting side. We also work alongside your bankers, brokers, and existing accountant where that helps, so the people advising you are working from the same picture.
Our approach
Why a focused practice
A focused practice means you work directly with the practitioner on your file. There are no layers to pass your matter through — the person advising you is the person reading your documents and current on the CRA issues at hand. That hands-on involvement is the point of keeping the practice deliberately narrow.
Honest scope
Where we are not the right fit
We would rather be clear about this up front. If your need sits outside what we focus on, we will say so and, where we can, point you toward the right kind of professional.
- General day-to-day bookkeeping as a standalone service
- Promotion of personal-tax or refund-maximization services
- Legal representation or legal advice in disputes
- Any promise of a guaranteed outcome with CRA
